Bio:

Hui-yi Kuo is a Chinese American printmaker currently based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She obtained her BFA in printmaking from the Maryland Institute College of Art in 2022.

Kuo’s work frequently deals with memory, nostalgia, and her Chinese culture, often using her zodiac sign, the rabbit, as a motif in her works.

She enjoys working with animal imagery, capturing everyday moments and exploring how people connect with each other and their surroundings. Kuo aims to bring a little bit of joy and sentimentality to her audience with her rabbit-themed work.
